Sawadee Thai is an adults-only dating community built to connect people and cultures. It offers member discovery, interests, matches, text chat, and language translation for eligible verified accounts.

You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to agree to our Terms, and use one authentic personal account. Never misstate your age or identity. Report any account that may belong to a minor.

Yes. You can expand your maximum-distance preference up to a worldwide range. Results still depend on each member's available location, age, identity, verification, and other discovery preferences, and some distance estimates may be unavailable or imprecise.

Sawadee Thai is currently available as a website and installable web app. A native iOS app is in development and is not yet publicly released; additional native platforms are planned. We will announce availability through official Sawadee Thai channels.

Sawadee Thai supports sign-in with Apple, Google, and Facebook. We do not offer password-based email registration. New users provide their display name, birth year, and gender during onboarding. Returning users with completed onboarding go directly to Home. Your sign-in provider has its own terms and privacy practices.

You can use limited features while unverified. Verification is required for unrestricted chat and translation. Stripe securely checks a supported government ID and matching live selfie. After Stripe reports success with the required verified fields, its verified first name becomes public while your legal last name and full birth date remain private; your first name and birth date become locked, while gender remains editable. Pending, requires-input, canceled, rejected, or unavailable results remain unverified. A badge is not a background check, endorsement, or guarantee of conduct or safety.

Automated identity verification is available in countries supported by Stripe Identity. Supported documents and availability may vary by country. If Stripe Identity is not supported for your country, please use Contact or email sawadeethai.club@gmail.com for manual verification assistance.

Stripe Identity requires live camera capture of your government ID and a live selfie so it can check document authenticity, liveness, and whether the selfie matches the ID photo. Sawadee Thai first checks that your camera can open and stops that test immediately. Stripe may show its own camera prompt on the secure verification page. If access is denied, allow Camera for sawadeethai.club and Stripe in your browser or device settings before trying again.

Sawadee Thai does not download or store separate copies of the raw ID or selfie in Firebase. Stripe Identity securely captures, processes, and retains those files under Stripe’s privacy and retention policies. Sawadee Thai stores only the minimum verification record needed for the badge and safety—such as consent, status, timestamps, Stripe session reference, verified legal name, and birth date.

An unverified account can send one text message of up to 50 characters every five minutes. Additional anti-spam and safety limits may apply. Verified accounts receive expanded messaging, subject to the Terms.

The first time an eligible verified member chooses Translate, we ask for explicit consent before any message text is sent to OpenAI. If accepted, only the selected message, target language, and a pseudonymous safety identifier are sent securely for machine translation; your public profile is not included. The translated copy expires with the original. OpenAI may retain API abuse-monitoring data for up to 30 days. You can decline and keep chatting without translation. Machine translation can be wrong, so do not use it for consent, emergencies, or legal, medical, or financial decisions.

Message text and requested translations expire 24 hours after creation and are removed by automated cleanup shortly after expiry. A report may retain a limited safety snapshot or description when needed to investigate abuse or comply with law; ordinary expired chat text is not kept in the conversation.

A conversation-list record is archived after about six months without a new message. This helps organize your inbox and does not preserve expired message text. Sending a new message moves the conversation back to the inbox.

In-app interest, match, and system notifications expire after 7 days unless removed sooner. The underlying interest or match remains until someone withdraws interest, blocks the other account, or the relationship is otherwise removed.

Eligible members may see your display name, age, gender, languages spoken, state and country, profile and gallery photos, verification status, online or offline status, and approximate distance. They do not see your registered email, full birth date, city, coordinates, user ID, permission history, or moderation records.

No. Location is optional. If you grant access, we reduce coordinate precision and use approximate distance plus your preferences to prioritize nearby members. If you decline, discovery remains available with randomized profiles and country shown instead of distance. Other members never receive your coordinates or city.

You keep ownership, but give Sawadee Thai the limited rights needed to store, crop, display, secure, and moderate it as part of the service. Upload only a current photo of yourself or a photo you own and have permission to use. Do not upload another person's photo without consent, photos of minors, intimate images, or content that violates privacy, copyright, or publicity rights.

Sawadee Thai does not run facial recognition on ordinary profile or gallery photos. If you voluntarily verify, Stripe Identity performs a limited liveness and face-match check between a live selfie and your government ID photo. Sawadee Thai receives the result, and our app does not download or store separate copies of those raw files in Firebase.

We separate member-visible public profile data from restricted account, location, permission, safety, and operational records. Firebase and Google Cloud provide core hosting, database, storage, security, notifications, and reCAPTCHA services. OpenAI processes requested translations, sign-in providers authenticate you, Apple processes optional native iOS support purchases, and Stripe processes optional website support payments and voluntary identity verification. Sawadee Thai does not store your full payment-card number or separate copies of Stripe's raw ID and selfie files.

No. Sawadee Thai does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use member activity to behaviorally target third-party advertisements. Paid business promotions are contextual active campaigns, are clearly labeled Advertisement, and do not give the advertiser your private profile, registered email, location coordinates, matches, interests, or chats.

Account, profile, preferences, media, and relationship records are generally kept while your account is active. Pending unfinished photo uploads are cleaned up after about 24 hours. Reports, security records, payment records, and legal holds may be kept longer only when reasonably necessary for safety, repeat-abuse prevention, accounting, disputes, or law.

Open Settings and choose Delete account. Login is disabled immediately, your profile disappears, active sessions are revoked, and your registered email cannot be used for another Sawadee Thai account during the 30-day waiting period. Before the deadline, cancellation is available only by emailing sawadeethai.club@gmail.com and completing sufficient identity verification. After backend deletion completes, it is irreversible. The automated process removes your authentication account, profiles, photos, preferences, relationships, conversations, devices, presence, and other linked service records, subject only to provider backup cycles and narrow legal, safety, fraud-prevention, payment, tax, or dispute obligations.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or an appeal. California residents may also have CCPA rights concerning knowledge, deletion, correction, covered sensitive information, sale or sharing, and non-discrimination. Use Contact or email sawadeethai.club@gmail.com and state the right you want to exercise.

Never send money, financial details, passwords, identity documents, security codes, or intimate images. Keep early conversation in the app, meet first in a busy public place, control your transportation, tell someone you trust, watch your belongings and drink, and leave if uncomfortable. Call 911 or local emergency services for immediate danger.

Harassment, threats, stalking, hate, discrimination, sexual coercion, unwanted sexual content, exploitation of minors, scams, requests for money, impersonation, doxxing, trafficking, violence, spam, solicitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, and unauthorized scraping or automation are prohibited. Serious conduct outside the app may also result in action when it creates a community safety risk.

Yes. Display names and language labels are limited to what those fields request. Our protected Firebase backend rejects invalid formatting, contact details, payment requests, promotions, and sexual or unsafe public-profile text. The check does not send profile text to OpenAI. Rejected attempts may leave a short-lived restricted record containing a one-way hash and reason codes, not the rejected text itself.

Open the three-dot menu on a member's public profile or conversation. Report sends relevant details for safety review; block prevents normal interaction and profile access. For urgent danger, contact emergency services first. Blocking does not erase an existing report or safety evidence.

Settings → My reports shows your report status. You choose which messages and nearby context or profile photos to include. Submitted evidence is saved for authorized safety review for 90 days, even if the original expires or changes, and is then automatically removed. Submitting a report does not automatically penalize an account.

Yes. Email sawadeethai.club@gmail.com from your registered address with the decision and why you believe it should be reconsidered. Severe misconduct may result in immediate permanent removal, even without an earlier warning.

Use our contact form or email sawadeethai.club@gmail.com. Please do not send passwords, government ID numbers, financial details, or intimate content by email. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Sawadee Thai may place a paid business-promotion card among discovery results. Every paid card is clearly labeled Advertisement, is selected from currently active campaigns rather than a behavioral profile, and is not a member recommendation or endorsement. Tapping it opens the advertiser's website, where that business's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Use the flag button on the advertisement card, choose the reason, and describe the concern. The report includes a limited snapshot of the campaign for authorized safety review. Reporting does not guarantee immediate removal, but unsafe, illegal, deceptive, or materially changed campaigns may be paused or canceled.

Include the business legal name, authorized contact name and email, business website, a truthful business bio, proposed campaign timing, and a 1024 × 1024 square marketing image you have the right to use. We will discuss eligibility, dates, pricing, payment, and any additional verification directly. Payment does not guarantee approval or results.

We may consider lawful, community-appropriate businesses such as restaurants, cultural organizations, language or educational services, travel and hospitality, wellness services, retail, professional services, and public events. Every inquiry is reviewed individually for legality, safety, truthfulness, relevance, rights to submitted media, and destination quality. Listing a category here does not guarantee approval.

We do not accept illegal businesses; adult or sexually explicit services; gambling or betting; alcohol, weapons, recreational drugs, tobacco or vaping; counterfeit goods; hate, violence, exploitation or trafficking; malware, phishing or dishonest services; deceptive financial schemes; political campaigning; misleading claims; or other unsafe, unlawful, exploitative, or inappropriate promotions. Sensitive or regulated categories may be rejected or require additional proof and disclosures.

Not without written approval from Sawadee Thai. The approved image, claims, offer, business identity, website, redirects, and destination content must remain materially consistent throughout the campaign. An unapproved or misleading change results in immediate suspension or cancellation. Any refund eligibility follows the written campaign agreement and applicable law.

Apple processes support purchases made in the native iOS app through the App Store, while Stripe hosts and processes support checkout on our website. Sawadee Thai does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Support is voluntary, is not charitable or tax-deductible, and does not provide verification, matches, visibility, or other account benefits.
